The sauna trailer: white aluminum body, black-framed window and door
One tradition, every language

Inside the sauna

Three tiers of thermally modified aspen in a cedar-lined room, so everyone picks their heat: lower benches are milder, the top bench is hottest. Six sit comfortably, eight for a party.

Three levels of heat

Pick your seat, pick your heat.

  • Top bench The hottest seat. Heat rises, so this is where it peaks.
  • Middle bench Comfortably hot, and the easiest place to settle in.
  • Lower bench The mildest. Good for first rounds, or if you like it gentler.

The Kuuma Blue Flame stove

What makes it different

  • Wooden enclosure around the stove. An added layer of protection that most units don’t have.
  • Extra 9" diamond surround. More rock mass around the stove, so the heat holds longer.
  • Kuuma Blue Flame stove, custom diamond mesh. Room for even more rocks.
  • ZenWave steam add-on. An exceptionally soft, enveloping steam.
  • Thermally modified aspen benches. Three tiers, so everyone picks their heat.

Keeping the fire going

Made by Lamppa Manufacturing in Tower, Minnesota. It burns the smoke along with the wood, so more of each log becomes heat (the maker says over 70%) and you refill less often.

  1. We bring the wood. Kiln-dried and stacked by the door, enough for about three hours of heat a day.
  2. We light the first fire with you. On delivery day we walk you through it, start to finish. It takes about 10 minutes.
  3. You keep it going. Add two or three splits when the flames settle into coals, roughly every 45 minutes.
  4. Planning a long night? Add extra wood when you book, $20 for a bundle of 10 pieces, so you have enough.

How it works

You don’t tow, set up or clean anything.

  1. Step 1

    Pick your dates

Choose a package and see the full price up front, delivery included, plus tax.

  2. Step 2

We deliver and light it with you

We park it in your driveway, level it, and light the first fire together. The walkthrough takes about 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    You sweat

Heat to 160–190°F in about an hour. Rounds of heat, cold and rest, as many as you like.

  4. Step 4

    We pick up and clean

Let the fire die down, leave the ash. We tow it away and clean it for the next guest.

Will it fit?

Ground
Level, firm surface about the size of one parking space. A driveway is ideal.
Slope
A grade of 6% or less (about 6 ft of rise over 100 ft). Completely flat is best.
Approach
We tow the sauna in, so check the turn off the street and the width of the entrance. Ideally we pull straight in. If we’d have to back in, there must be room to swing the trailer around.
Access
A path at least 10 ft wide with 12–14 ft of overhead clearance (no low wires or branches).
Clear zone
Nothing that burns within 25 ft of the chimney: house siding, fences, sheds, overhanging trees.
Water
A garden hose within reach (for the plunge and the bucket).
Do I need power or a hookup?

No. The sauna is wood-fired, so there’s nothing to plug in. A garden hose nearby is handy for the cold plunge and the water bucket.

How long does it take to heat up?

Plan on about an hour from lighting to 160°F and up. The Kuuma is a gasifying stove, so it holds heat well; add two or three splits roughly every 45 minutes.

Will it fit in my driveway?

If you can park a car in it and there’s a 10 ft wide path with no low wires or branches, it almost certainly fits. Text us a photo of the spot and we’ll confirm.

Is there a lot of smoke?

Very little. The Kuuma burns the smoke along with the wood, and we supply kiln-dried wood that burns clean. Expect a little smoke from the chimney for the first few minutes after lighting.

How many people fit?

Six adults sit comfortably on the three tiers, and eight fit for a party. Have more guests over and take turns.

Is it safe for kids?

Kids 6 and up can join an adult inside for short sessions (up to 5 minutes) on the lower bench. Every guest, including minors, needs a signed waiver from a parent.
